Bedside Critical Care 2012:The Whitsundays |
Following the success of the last two meetings, BCC is back but this year at the spectacular Daydream Island Resort and Spa, Whitsunday Islands, Queensland. The meeting will be held in the first week of the school holidays, 24 – 28 September 2012 and we can’t imagine that you will have any trouble dragging the family to this one! This years’ program will continue to deliver an educational meeting with a balance of short clinical updates reinforced with practical skill sessions. The great success of the meeting has come from assembling a group of hands-on clinicians to update us in how they manage their patients. To this end we have planned a program including themes such as:
The venue at Daydream Island has the perfect mix of world class conference facilities set in an environment that is relaxing and conducive to learning. Whether you bring the family or travel alone the social program will have plenty for everyone. The Island provides an enormous array of activities including: Kids Club, water sports, fishing, Daydreams Interactive Living Reef experience, Helireef, tennis, half day trip to Whitehaven Beach and Day Spa. Of course the conference will include a Welcome Reception (children are welcome and free of charge) and the now legendary Gala Dinner and After-Party for the adults only (Can we beat last year’s party???). This is a great opportunity to update your practical skills and take some time to enjoy the holidays with your family. We also appreciate the ongoing support of our major sponsors, Baxter and Edwards in association with the intensivecarenetwork.com. It’s easy to get to Daydream: fly directly to Hamilton Island and a boat will take you straight there. At the moment, flights from Sydney to Hamilton are only $190 (one way).
