A one-day hands-on workshop. Objectives: To enable the acute care physician to evaluate pericardial effusion/tamponade, left heart and right heart function, and preload assessment. RACE courses are held regularly throughout the year.

A two-day hands-on workshop. Day one covers a standard one-day RACE workshop and Day two gives additional time RACE hands-on in addition to lung and Doppler ultrasound.

Critical Care Echo Leura

A four-day course, specially designed for intensivists, emergency physicians, and anaesthetists who seek training in the more advanced aspects of critical care echocardiography. The emphasis in on complex diagnosis, haemodynamic assessment, and interpretations and reporting the findings of your studies. Those who are sitting for the DDU in Critical Care Ultrasound (ASUM) will find this course useful. Due to popular request, a one day RACE is usually provided for beginners on day one, with the advanced course run over the following days.

An introductory two-day course to Critical Care General Ultrasound. Topics include lung ultrasound, DVT assessment, ultrasound-guide vascular access, FAST and abdominal ultrasound.
