Yo, yo, yo – someone give me a beat!

I been workin in my Unit

Tryin’ hard to stop ’em crashin

Machines are goin’ PING

And alarms they keep on flashin’

It’s taking me all day

and I can’t keep goin’ on this way

I’m gonna go astray

…. I need some SIN

And for an extra measure

I got a little treasure

Add in some tasty liquer

To stop ’em gettin’ sicker

… that’s in the BIN

Hopefully M-Diddy hasn’t put you all off with his rockin’ lyrics and penetrating social commentary; because you’d be missing out if you skip these next two events. The Sydney and Brisbane Intensive Care Networks are winding up for their next sessions. For those of you who haven’t yet attended a SIN or BIN meeting … where have you been???

Take a pleasant setting, an influential critical care speaker, some nice food and free drinks and mix in trainees looking to learn a little bit extra and hook up with their colleagues and peers and you’ve got an Intensive Care Network meeting. A good evening out that mixes business with pleasure in equal, beneficial measure.

So come out and play.

SIN are having their next meeting on the 3rd of May at St Vincent’s Hospital (Details from ?subject=SIN%20meeting%20April%2019th">Tim Southwood).

The BIN meeting is on April 23rd with Professor John Fraser, who will be discussing the journey towards a totally implantable artificial heart (Bivacor. Look at www.bivacor.com. Details from ?subject=BIN%20meeting%20April%2029th">Matt Keys or ?subject=BIN%20meeting%20April%202012">Marianne Kirrane)
