ANZ ECMO Practice Update 2013

How, why, when and where: evolving concepts

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Saturday, September 7, 2013

Kerry Packer Education Center, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Missenden Road, CAMPERDOWN

“Over the past few years, ECMO has become an area of intense clinical and scientific interest internationally.

Indications for the use of ECMO continue to expand and evolve. For example, ECMO-assisted CPR is emerging as a potentially significant advance in the management of refractory cardiac arrest.

This meeting will highlight some of the important clinical and scientific contributions that are being made in our region to this, and other exciting and rapidly evolving areas of ECMO practice.”

Paul Forrest, Convener
