From Little Things, Big Things Grow: Paediatrics and Mentorship
The Women in Intensive Care Medicine Network invites all ICU doctors (men and women!) to enjoy a free meal and hear two talented intensivists speak. Proudly sponsored by Hospira, and supported by the Intensive Care Network and ANZICS. Get in quick as tickets will sell out.
Dr Claire Cattigan is an Intensivist and Deputy Director of ICU at The University Hospital Geelong. She is interested in critical care echocardiography and the management of paediatric patients in mixed ICUs. Dr Cattigan will speak about managing sick kids outside of Flemington.
Dr Irma Bilgrami is an Intensivist at Western Health. Her physician and intensive care training took her beyond Victoria to North Queensland and Darwin. She has a passion for delivering quality medical education, trainee supervision and mentoring, as well as improving intensive care medicine in resource poor countries. She will speak about effective mentoring relationships.
