Two interesting articles from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine‘s newsletter, “Your Direction”. The first is a series of e-mails written by an ED specialist, Dr Mike Ardagh FACEM, to colleagues while he managed the emergency department in Christchurch during the aftermath of the recent earthquake. The second is an article written by Dr. Malcolm Johnston-Leek, a Queensland FACEM, who spent time moving between a number of small EDs during the Queensland floods along the Lockyer valley. |
