WHAT IS ICN VIC?

Intensive Care Network (ICN) Victoria was founded in 2012, and we meet 4 to 6 times per year for a free dinner and educational evening for intensive care specialists and trainees. Most of our talks are recorded for podcasting (see below) and the slides are freely available on ICN Victoria SlideShare. Want to get involved? Chat to one of us at our next meeting, or email .

The Victorian intensive care community has a wealth of talent, and we bring it together in one spot. We are all-inclusive, promoting unity and collegiality, and provide a forum where trainees and fellows can network, seek advice and have regular contact.

NEXT EVENT

Our 2017 meeting series will kick off with Associate Professor Neil Orford discussing the iValidate program which seeks to improve end of life care discussions in critically ill patients. Neil will also be presenting on leadership challenges in the critical care setting.

All ICN Victoria events are free, and include dinner and drinks. All trainees and fellows are welcome! If you have suggestions, ideas for speakers or you would like to speak, please contact us at .

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE NIGHT?

ICN Victoria evenings start with a short welcome from an ICN Victoria representative along with the sponsor. This is followed, during the entree and dinner, by the topic of the night delivered by one or two speakers. We welcome active informal discussion during the evening, and also those wanting to advertise upcoming events or request assistance with projects. Please feel free to send information beforehand for this if you can’t make it.

We owe a debt of gratitude to our sponsors for supporting these events and allowing us to provide our own educational content unfettered. All ICN Victoria members are volunteers.

Thank you for supporting us with your attendance at the next ICN Victoria event. For more information, or to get involved with ICN Victoria, contact us at . Regards Maurice, on behalf of the ICN Victoria Team.
